Borrowing the Canning Machine

1. Requests to schedule visits to the cannery or to reserve a portable can seamer should be directed to: Carol Phelps, 949-551-3797, schedule.fvhsc@gmail.com. In her absence, contact: Bart Kerstiens, 949-478-4838, manager.fvhsc@gmail.com.
2. Please indicate the dates for which you wish to reserve the can seamer.  One week is the normal reservation period.
3. There are 2 can seamers available.  One is at the cannery.  The other is in Irvine.  Please Indicate which location is your preference for pickup/drop off.  Depending upon availability, the choice of location may not be an option.  Please plan on returning the can seamer from the same location from where it was picked up.  Carol will give specific directions for pickup/drop off of the can seamer.
4. The can seamer does not come with any supplies.  Please schedule a visit to the cannery if you wish to obtain any of the commodities or canning supplies needed for your project.  We request a 3 week lead time to schedule a visit and to ensure product availability.  Supplies may be obtained from other sources.
5. At the time of reservation and pickup, the Portable Can Seamer Reservation/Check-Out Form must be completed.  Reservations will not be confirmed without the completed form.
